Standard Electrical Tapers

PERCENT CLOCKWISE ELECTRICAL ROTATIONS
(Viewed From Shaft Side)

Regardless of the direction of the taper curve, the switch can be placed at either the clockwise or the counterclockwise end of the rotation.

Even numbered curves reference terminals 1 and 2 (front section) or 4 and 5 (rear section).  Odd numbered curves reference terminals 2 and 3 (front section) or 4 and 5 (rear section).

Standard tolerances for curves #0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are ± 20% for the overall value and ± 20% for the mid-point value.  For curves #6 and 7, ± 40% is standard for the overall value and ± 20% for the mid-point.
